Venice Beach! And also Eva’s birthday! I figured it’d be a good idea to go to the beach for one last time before the winter season kicks into high gear. No such luck, the weather was pretty bad, silvery clouds that looked as if rain was going to burst out of them at any moment. Venice beach is usually filled with a plethora of unusual characters but on a cold gloomy day we only spotted a handful. One guy walked up to us and informed us that there was a huge hole/pit in Arizona that we simply had to go see, I was afraid to ask if he was talking about the Grand Canyon.

Later that night, we met-up with Sam and went to see a play at Fountain Theater, it was probably one of the shortest plays I’ve seen but it was pretty good, though a little depressing. It added to my depressing state because prior to entering the play I failed miserably at parallel parking Sam’s car, which is much bigger than my Prius and does not have a reverse camera, which I think is a necessity now more than a mere want.Note to car makers, all Car's need reverse cameras! BTW, the Play was pretty damn awesome, and the actors were able to recreate an amazing South African accent.
